Mizzou improves to 4-0 with win over Missouri State

Mizzou beat Missouri State 13-2 on Saturday, improving its record to 4-0 on the season.  In the game, Missouri was able to dominate at face-offs  and control the pace of the game.  The Missouri defense only allowed two goals, both coming on man-down situations.

Matt Vollmer leads the team for the season with eight points (four goals and four assists.) Tim Adams, Gerry Leonard and Alex Harper all have seven points for the season. Matt Ward leads in goals with five.

Missouri now prepares for the toughest stretch of their schedule.  In two weeks, Missouri will travel on its spring break trip to play at No. 13 Virginia Tech, No. 12 Clemson and Vanderbilt.  The Tigers then will travel to face long-time rival Lindenwood in St. Charles, Mo.  The Tigers have two weeks to prepare for what will be an exciting stretch of games.
