Mizzou puts on offensive clinic, beating Missouri S&T and Kansas State

Missouri out scored opponents 33-4 in two games this weekend. In its three games this season the Tigers have outscored their opponents 43-9. Attackman Zach Nisson injured his shoulder in the first half of Friday’s game and did not play the rest of the weekend.

Matt Vollmer lead the Tigers on Friday, scoring two goals and three assists against the Missouri S&T Miners. Tim Adams had one goal and two assists in the 15-3 victory. Starting goalie Sean Hogarty had three saves. More game stats.

Thirteen players scored Saturday against Kansas State, nearly all of those goals came in the first half of the 18-1 victory. Tim Adams led the way with three goals and one assist. Gerry Leonard also scored four points — one goal and three assists. Matt Ward, Ryan Biek and Adam Cook scored two goals each.
In the second half Missouri settled down and worked on running through its offensive playbook and giving more players time on the field.
Rob Williams got his first shot in goal after starting goalie Sean Hogarty went out with a penalty late in the first half. Williams stayed in for the rest of the game, allowing one goal and registering two saves. Game stats
