Mizzou Lacrosse season is near

The University of Missouri Men’s Lacrosse team has been working hard the past two weeks. Due to extreme amounts of snowfall, the team has been conditioning inside the University of Missouri’s Hearnes Center. The indoor workouts have not caused the team’s attitude or momentum to falter. Freshman Defensemen Ethan Payer had this to say about the conditions, “We are doing the best with the situation at hand.  We’ve stayed positive and kept our motivation up, knowing that conditioning will only strengthen our play once games begin.”

The team is eager to get out on the field and put everything together. With only 17 days until the team’s first scrimmage against Washington University on Stankowski Field, there is a lot of work left to do. “We are really eager to get out there and test our skills. We had a really positive fall ball and our spirits our high,” said junior Co-captain and Goalie Sean Hogarty. “We are ready to put the pieces of the puzzle together and really see what the true potential of our team is.” With a lot of anticipation and expectation for this season, the Tigers are amped up and ready to make a run at the GRLC championship title.
