Mizzou goes 2-0 in Fall Ball action over the weekend

COLUMBIA, MO – After taking down the alumni last weekend, the Mizzou Lacrosse team traveled to St. Louis to take on host Wash. U. and Iowa State in a fall ball round robin. The tigers would start off the day against Iowa State, taking them down 9-8. The Tigers played back to back going up against Wash U next. After a slow start from the Tigers, Mizzou went on a 6-0 run to end the game, final 11-6. The Tigers traveled just over half of their anticipated Spring Squad, bringing 25 on the weekend, 19 being freshman. A young squad that played pretty well together despite only having a few practices under their belt and against a much improved Wash U and Iowa State team. The future looks bright for the black and gold.
