Zach Nisson added eight more points to his league-leading total to lead the Tigers to the 13-6 win. Nisson scored six goals and had two assists in the first round of the Great Rivers Lacrosse Conference tournament. Matt Vollmer had a hat trick of his own and Walter Reilly scored twice. Josh Nelson and Logan Parker each scored a goal.
The Tigers advance to the second round game, against Lindenwood at 8 p.m. Saturday.
