Missouri’s GRLC tournament game with Purdue on Friday should go on as scheduled. The field at Belleville Stadium is turf, so unless there’s lightning, the game should be able to be played. Bring your jackets, rain gear and umbrellas!
Looking at the stats for the conference, Missouri has scored more goals (110-104) but has also allowed more (128-89).
Missouri is 4-7 overall and 3-2 in the conference. Purdue is 6-4 and 3-1. Missouri is led by Zach Nisson (9) with 46 points, followed by Ryan McKibben (2) with 29, Ryan Biek (28) with 25 and Gerry Leonard (1) with 23. Purdue’s top scorer is Palen Rhodes (5), who also has 46 points for the year. He’s joined by Gerg Behning (13) with 43 points, Kevin Kelley (11) with 14 and John Bowie (32) with 13.
Tiger goalie Tad Schmidt, has a 0.67 percent save average. Robert Williams’ save percentage is 0.485.
Both of the Boilermaker goalies have save percentage averages of 0.55 percent.
Missouri is coming off a big win over Kansas, 24-9. Purdue hasn’t played since its April 21 win over Illinois (9-6).
