Tigers cruise to 17-2 win over the Miners

IMG_4064If you were wearing No. 35 Friday night, it was your night.

It seemed every time you turned around someone wearing No. 35 was scoring a goal for Missouri, helping the Tigers to a 17-2 win over Missouri S&T.

Freshman Ryan Skiermanski, wearing a Tiger-striped penny, completed the hat trick and an assist just in the first half, helping Mizzou to a 7-2 halftime advantage.

Wearing the other No. 35 uniform Friday night was Drew Roither another freshman. Unofficially (no official score was kept in the Fall Ball game) he scored four goals.

The win, Mizzou’s first home game of the fall season, moved the team to 4-1 for the year. Their last game of fall is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 9 against Missouri State. Game time is 5 p.m. at Stankowski Field.
