Meet the Mizzou Attackmen

A stealthy and lethal attack unit has been igniting the fire in the Mizzou Men’s Lacrosse offense.  All three juniors: Cory Kaufman (#9), Troy Clesen (#26), and Clayton Melrose (#14) have molded together to form the best attack unit in many years for the Tigers. The unit is credited with a combined 8.875 points-per-game average.

In the Tigers last victory, the three had 18 points between them. Through quick ball movement, great stick skills, and superb vision, the unit is quickly gaining notice in the GRLC Conference with Kaufman ranked 9th overall for total points (32), and Clesen ranked 11th (30).

The attack looks to continue their great play this weekend against Indiana University, Ball State University, and Purdue University.
