Cold winter temperatures seemed to make both teams slow to warm up Saturday. In a normally fast-paced game, the first goal wasn’t scored until 3:21 left in the first quarter.
Missouri’s Kevin Langerud scored the first goal of the game but Missouri couldn’t build any momentum and the game went to half time tied at 1.

Indiana controlled most of the game, peppering Missouri goalie Jacob Mayer with shots. Mayer had 17 saves for the game.

The loss moves Missouri to 3-2 overall. The next game is a non conference game against Illinois, scheduled for Saturday  at DeSmet Jesuit High School in St Louis. Game time is 3 p.m. Illinois has played just one game so far this season, beating Wash U 6-4.
