4 Questions for Head Coach Eric Chole

1. Coach Chole, you are less than two weeks away from your first game as Head Coach, how has your team progressed this spring?

> The team is looking great. Guys have seemed to really buy into what we are trying to accomplish here. Practices have been really competitive as everyone is fighting for that starting spot. I think the guys are anxious for our first game and cant wait to get the season rolling.

2. What areas is the team really excelling in so far?

> Our offense is possessing the ball very well right now. Guys understand the importance of valuing the ball and working within our system. We try to decrease the number of turnover each day in practice and it is paying off so far.

3. You play a Top 25 MCLA Division 2 team, Missouri Baptist, in your first game, what are your keys to victory?

> We need to come out strong at the start of the game and overcome those first game jitters. This will be our freshmen’s first real game at the collegiate level and playing a top 25 team like MOBap wont be an easy task. I’m looking to see how our young guys handle that moment. We need to possess the ball well on offense and capitalize on our opportunities. Defensively we need to play aggressive and physical.

4. What goals do you have for the team for the rest of the season?

> Our goals from day one are to win the GRLC and turn some heads at Nationals. I think with the talent we have and how we are progressing in practice so far our goals are in reach and it is just a matter of going out there and performing on the field.
